It’s been over a month and while many physical Art Galleries are working to reopen. Legacy Designs Studio remains a favorite location in the Virtual World. Guests are excited to see that we are here and providing a space of healing, and we remain on the first page of general Art Destinations and Art Galleries in on Second Life.
This summer Legacy Designs Studio hosted its Second Virtual Art Exhibition in the virtual world of Second Life to celebrate freedom and Independence for Juneteenth. We were excited to learn that the US Federal Government declared Juneteenth a national holiday, and not only that , we were chosen as an editors pick for our event, and was featured on Second Life’s Destination Guide & Social Media.
Since the Black Lives Matter event in the summer of 2020, I have been considering forming a non profit around the mission of Legacy Designs Studio. Just this week Legacy Designs Studio developed a board and filed a 501c3. We really want to focus on empowering creates and healing our communities. Looking forward to this new year of growth and transformation.
